Color Video Inspection
Small Pipe
With the small camera, it is pushed thru the pipe to visually inspect and find any potential problems with the line.
Large Pipe
Pipe Inspection Systems
First you can take a quick look at some of the bigger video equipment, this truck is used to video inspect lines 8" and Larger pipe. The camera is driven thru the pipe by remote and the condition of the pipe is safely seen on the monitors inside.
Video camera uses:
Having a Video Inspection done on your sewer or drain line ensures that the line has not become damaged due to age, wear, settling, and other time related issues. A video camera allows for a visual inspection of underground sewer lines and other piping, to determine the condition inside the pipe. A flexible rod with a specially designed, high-resolution video camera on its tip is inserted into the pipe for inspection. Video cameras may be used to identify damage and obstructions that inhibit flow or create occasional or repeated backups. The cameras also verify that obstructions have been removed and that the lines are clean following service. The condition of a line typically cannot be determined without a visual inspection using an in-line camera.
Broken - cracked - collapsed pipe - possible damage requiring replacement.
Offset pipe - pipes that over time have become misaligned due to shifting soil, frozen ground, (in certain areas) settling over time
Find blockage or foreign objects restricting flow or cleaning of the line.
Corrosion - the pipe has deteriorated and/or broken, causing collapses in the line and restricting flow.
Bellied pipe - a section of the pipe has sunk due to ground or soil conditions, creating a valley that collects paper and waste.
Leaking joints - the seals between pipes have broken, allowing water to escape into the area surrounding the pipe.
Root infiltration - tree or shrub roots have invaded the sewer line, preventing normal cleaning and/or have damaged the line.
Off-grade pipe — existing pipes are constructed of substandard material that may have deteriorated or corroded.
